Popis:	In this paper we explore the distribution of wet soils (organic and mineral) in the conterminous United States with respect to land use and carbon sequestration. We used information from the National Resource Inventory of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (Soil Conservation Service, 1987), and from the literature, to estimate potential carbon storage in wet soils.
