| Popis: | The solid state and solution photochemistry of nine compounds possessing the basic cis-4a,5,8,8a-tetra-hydronaphthoquin-1-one-4-ol structure are reported. Two main points are addressed: (1) The reasons for the differences observed between the solution and solid state results, and (2) the source of the solid state reactivity differences among the nine substrates studied. |
