Popis: | Crosslinked chromolytic polysaccharides are generally used as substrates for determination of the polysaccharide hydrolases in human and veterinary medicine and in biotechnologies. The effect of crosslinking and swelling properties of these substrates was studied in the model system with starch and amylolytic enzymes. It was found that there are no interferences of beta- and glucoamylase activities in alpha amylase assay when starches with degree of crosslinking higher than 0.02 are used. Starches crosslinked to various degree as substrates and application of specific inhibitors enable differentiation among amylolytic enzymes. |
