Nowadays, manufacturing business may not sustain the competitive business without the support of information technology and computer-aided capabilities. Cloud computing can improve the PDE, ERP, MRM, MPM by providing an optimized solution. Cloud computing provides manufacturing resources and manufacturing capabilities as manufacturing services on demand, thereby providing the feasible solutions for all kinds of users involved in the whole life cycle of manufacturing. This paper discusses the various cloud models used in the manufacturing sector to automate the manufacturing process and how to measure the quality of service in manufacturing systems using cloud. |
