Soil salinization has become a typical factor for the southern regions of Europe. It leads to a significant loss of crop yields. Attempts to reduce the salinization of arable soils by washing or the use of phytoremediators were ineffective, and gypsum of soil is almost not carried out. The effect of the preparations Methyure on the corn hybrids DKS 5143 growth, development and yield formation under the conditions of the semiarid region saline soils was highlighted in the article. It was shown that pre-sowing corn seed treatment with Methyure promoted their field germination. Methyure (10−3 and 10−4 M) increased leaf area index of the corn crops, optimized netto photosynthesis productivity and raised the content of chlorophyll in corn leaves. It was marked that preparation improved the formation of corn crop productivity and increased the yield by 16–27%. The results were proved by calculating the energy factor of corn-growing technology when Methyure was used. |
