| Popis: | We present a project aiming at making the computer science program at Uppsala University in Sweden more attractive to women. The main goal of the project is to find explanations for the low number of female students attending the program, and to identify possible solutions to this problem. We focus on the prevailing culture of the program. In the first phase of the project, the program is analyzed from a gender perspective. A study, based on questionnaires and interviews, is carried out. The study will be completed during Spring 1997. The questionnaires have been analyzed and the results from these are presented in this paper. |
