Popis: This chapter discusses various commands for running C-Kermit. C-Kermit is a large program with many features, designed to be used on a wide variety of hardware and software platforms. C-Kermit's SHOW FEATURES command lists the features that are included and those that are missing. One can see the appendix particular to their operating system, such as Appendix III for UNIX. If the C-Kermit program is correctly installed on the computer, one should be able to run it simply by typing its name at the system prompt. C-Kermit's command style should be familiar to anyone who has used MS-DOS Kermit or other popular Kermit programs. A Kermit command is like an English sentence, usually consisting of a verb followed by objects. When the C-Kermit prompt appears, one can type a command. Commands are entered using ordinary letters, numbers, and punctuation as well as the special characters. Kermit's interactive command language is easy for users of all levels. For novices, it is intuitive and nonthreatening.
