Silver nanoparticles in a fluoropolymer matrix: Production and properties

Popis: In this paper, we report the first experiments on the deposition of silver nanoparticles by a gas dynamic spray technique, with their simultaneous stabilization in a fluoropolymer matrix, and the results of studying the properties of the produced materials, in particular, bactericide properties. Materials with silver nanoparticles in a polymer matrix exhibit a combination of properties that makes them good candidates for applications in elec� tronics, for production of optical fibers, and in med� icine [1 ⎯3]. As is known, silver has excellent antimicrobial activity against approximately 650 bacteria strains [4].
