Popis: The United States is currently in the midst of a major wave of immigration, primarily from Latin America and Asia. The housing trajectories of contemporary immigrants are of theoretical and public policy relevance because (1) immigrants represent a large and growing segment of the population, and thus will help shape overall US housing patterns and (2) access to homeownership and quality housing and neighbourhoods will have an important influence on the prospects for immigrant assimilation and adaptation. As such, this article addresses the confluence of factors that shape immigrant housing outcomes in the United States.
