Popis: OBJECTIVE: To investigate the association between the phenomenon of quality of life (QOL), subjective well-being (SWB), antiretroviral therapy (ART) and their repercussion on people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA). METHODS: Exploratory and descriptive study in a reference hospital in treatment of PLHAs, in Manaus/AM. Data collection took place from October 2018 to January 2019, when 50 patients between 20 and 50 years of both genders were investigated. The participants answered the sociodemographic questionnaire, followed by the World Health Organization's quality of life instruments (WHOQOL-HIV-Bref), by the use of the Cuestionario para la Evaluacion de la Adhesion al Tratamiento Antiretroviral (CEAT-VIH) and the Subjective Welfare Scale (EBES).
