Evaluation and analysis of fog dispersion under the influence of an electric field

Popis: In this work, the steam droplets dispersion was evaluated under the influence of an alternating current field through a flyback transformer in an experimental fog chamber. The main objective is to design a high voltage and frequency transformer to disperse fog in the environment. The dispersion was evaluated through reliability levels by using t-distribution for 3 optical sensors inside the chamber. The charged particles were produced around a corona discharge for 3 different trials: flyback turned off and turned on during all the trial, and flyback turned on at the half of the trial. The results obtained show a reliability level of 1.27σ for the lower optical sensor and 1.59σ for the upper optical sensors.
