Popis: This work examined the power density or received signal level indicator in the Merlimau district area, Melaka region, from the ambient source of GSM900 downlink frequencies transmitter, which is 920Mhz, mounted along the Merlimau route with the aim of converting energy of frequency to direct-current energy. The purpose is to come up with power density mapping in the area. The investigaton used a FieldFox Microwave Analyzer, GPS tracker, OmniLog antenna, and applications such as Google Maps, and Google Earth. The result showed that all area of Merlimau district has power density in between – 26 dB to – 68 dB, which makes Merlimau becomes significantly potential area to harvest energy of radio frequency to charge small-power electronic devices.
