Popis:	Using a statistical model of the threshold of colour vision, a new expression is obtained to calculate the detection probability of colour objects against colour backgrounds. The method shows that in the day sight area, this probability is completely determined by the individual criterion of decision making about an objectТs presence, by addition functions of the RGB colorimetric system, by radiance spectral concentrations of the object and background, and by the angular dimensions of the object.
