Stability is very important in control system design and analysis. This paper presents the stability analysis of the three-phase induction motor speed controlled system with the fractional-order proportional-integral-derivative (FOPID) controller designed by the cuckoo search (CS). Matignon’s stability theorem is one of the most efficient and easiest approaches for stability analysis of the fractional control system. In this paper, Matignon’s stability theorem associated with Riemann surface and Riemann sheets is conducted for stability analysis of the considered fractionalorder control system. As results, it was found that the threephase induction motor speed controlled system with the FOPID controller is stable according to the Matignon’s stability conditions. The system stability can be assured by the responses of the controlled system. |
