Popis: The study of large deformations in crystalline polymers over a wide range of temperatures is of great theoretical and practical interest, since profound structural changes take place during the processing and use of polymeric materials under the effect of various mechanical actions. This approach makes it possible to establish most accurately the connection between the actual supermolecular structures in the polymer and its mechanical properties [1–4]. New experimental results are presented in the present paper; these were obtained in the study of large deformations in uniaxial tension of polyoxypropylene (PPO) specimens both of the initial material and also containing artificial nuclei of a structure-forming agent.
