Canguilhem, il se passionne pour la philosophie des sciences et travaille sur l’histoire de la génétique moléculaire. Sa trajectoire, secouée par les bouleversements de l’Histoire, le conduit du judaïsme au catholicisme, puis à un retour aux racines juives. Au terme de sa vie, Mgr. Batut lui permit de « relier les fils de son existence », partagée entre deux rives géographiques et spirituelles, celle de la France autour de Claudel et celle d’Israël et du judaïsme. A. Béguin introduced Charles Galpérine to Claudel ; then, thanks to G. Canguilhem, he is passionate about the philosophy of science and works on the history of molecular genetics. His trajectory, shaken by the upheavals of history, led him from Judaism to Catholicism and then back to Jewish roots. At the end of his life, Mgr Batut helped him to “connect the threads of his existence”, shared between two geographical and spiritual shores, that of France around Claudeland that of Israel and Judaism. |
