Exacum keralense (Gentianaceae), a new species from the Western Ghats, India

Popis:	Exacum keralense, a new species from montane grasslands in Western Ghats, India, is described. The new species is similar to Exacum atropurpureum and mainly differs in having a violet-coloured calyx with thick wings, rectangular curved anthers with sagittate base and style shorter than stamens with bilobed stigma. The morphological characters, distribution map, conservation status and images of the new species are provided.
