Popis:	1. Esters have been synthesized from organic acids and alcohols 'n a monomolecular layer on the surface of water (0.02 N HCl). The formation of esters has been proved by a microchemical analytical method and also by the fall in surface pressure. 2. The synthesis occurs in presence of the enormous amount of water that supports the film. The possibility of the occurrence of the dehydration process is associated with the peculiar conditions that are found in the surface layer.
