Popis:	Isoquinoline alkaloids were detected in calli and seeds from the species Erythrina americana Miller, which were identified using liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. We studied the effect of subcultures on production of alkaloids from E. americana making seven subcultures of calli. Comparison of the methanolic extract obtained from seeds and cotyledons using the seven callus subcultures from E. americana Miller showed the presence of mainly α and β erythroidines.
