A new measuring system of the porosity distribution generated in powder bed

Popis: In order to elucidate the mechanical behavior of powder, the spatial porosity distribution in the powder bed can be considered to be one of the most important informations. However, the method to measure the porosity distribution has not been established sufficiently yet. Then, in this paper, concentrating on this problem, a new measuring system of the spatial porosity distribution formed in the powder bed, which is constituted of X-ray radiograph set up, a pair of cell (test and reference) for the porosity determination and turbidity meter, was presented. And, its measurement accuracy was experimentally checked.
