Popis:	Possible methods of dissipating the energy of spillway jets at the Rogun HPP are analyzed. As an alternative solution, it is proposed to dissipate the jet energy in a vertical shaft within the waterway. Laboratory experiments demonstrated high efficiency of the shaft/tunnel spillway design.
