| Popis: | Transactions of the Cumberland & Westmorland Antiquarian & Archaeological Society, 100, 89-104 Survey and excavation at this multi-period site revealed a complex of field boundaries, clearance cairns and hut circles probably dating to the late first millennium BC. A trackway, previously considered to be a Roman road is reinterpreted as medieval in date and associated with the nearby church. |
