Precision measurement of gamma rays from 94Nb decay

Popis: Gamma rays resulting from the ground state beta-decay of 94 Nb were studied using high resolution Ge(Li) detectors. The energies of the cascade gamma rays from the 1.57 MeV excited state of 94 Mo were determined to be 702.630±0.030 keV and 871.104± 0.035 keV, with relative intensities of (0.98±0.02)/1.00. No new gamma ray transitions were found. An upper limit of 0.015% was established for the 1.57 MeV crossover transition probability.
