Popis:	The design philosophy based on operational requirements in the new large power stations of ESCOM is presented, with the emphasis on the EHV yard and the power station electrical control and instrumentation. Some special design criteria and ergonomic aspects are presented and the operating staff comments and suggestions for future designs given.
