Popis:	Email: Marilee@umich.edu Abstract: Training of students and scientists to carry out receptor research has lagged behind progress in other areas of biochemistry and biotechnology. In this commentary suggestions for improving curriculum, strategies for incorporating topics into lecture and laboratories and references are suggested. In addition, this call for action suggests that those in industry and research laboratories assume a greater role in training.
