Popis:	Statistical data of the spatial and temporal variability of point rainfall intensity are presented and the statistical properties of rainfall intensity exceedance durations are examined. Particular attention is given to the possibility of utilizing the long-term data of Meteorological Services and to the influence of the integration time used in the measurements on the model of statistical distribution of rainfall intensity.
