Popis: | Strontium doped lanthanum manganites, La 1− x Sr x MnO 3 ; (0.0 x 1− x Sr x MnO 3 shows an excellent photocatalytic properties in generating high amount of oxygen, were characterized and reported. Strontium doping and the angle between the Mn–O–Mn facilitate conduction pathways resulting in enhanced oxygen production. An apparent quantum yield (AQY) of ~7% has been achieved for La 0.7 Sr 0.3 MnO 3. Further enhancement of photocatalytic properties were observed by the introduction of electron accepting graphene oxide (GO) which facilitates enhanced charge separation. An AQY of 8% has been achieved in La 0.7 Sr 0.3 MnO 3 —GO composite. |
