Popis: | A two stage system of two-dimensional, hydrodynamic computer codes, HEMP and SOIL (from the OIL family of codes) are combined to form the HOIL method which is designed to predict shaped charge performance. The numerical procedure and its use are discussed. This technique proves to be very cost effective when compared to similar techniques, and will be extremely useful in providing insight into the entire analytical solution of the shaped charge problem. As a result, the HOIL method will speedily provide the designer with sufficient information to optimize warhead performance in a parametric study. |
