Popis:	The wide spread application and rapid revolution of computers and Internet technology has made the use of them a must for many people including people with disabilities. This paper presents the new trends and developments in both computers and Internet technology aimed as aid to visually impaired people in general and the Arabic-speaking in particular. The developments include the various input and output devices used in conjunction with computers, the various software packages designed for the visually impaired, and the various ways through which they can communicate via the Internet.
