Electrochemical determination of anti-thalassemia drug (deferasirox) by cyclic voltammetry technique using GCE modified with MWCNTs electrode

Popis: This project was to study analytical technique foranti_thalassemia drug of deferasirox by glassy carbon electrode (GCE).The electrochemical performance of deferasirox was studied by cyclic voltammetry technique. The determination of deferasirox wasapplicate under Optimize condition in pH 13, scan rate 50 and 500mv/s,temperature 40 0Candinterference that have been studied. where found the resultsthat calibration curve ofdeferasiroxwas linear in the concentrations 2.6 × 10-4-2.6 × 10-2 M,the detection limits were9.227 × 10-4 M at 50mv/s and1.084 × 10-4 Mat 500mv/s while LOQ were 3.075 × 10-3 M and 3.613 × 10-4 M.The active area of electrode was calculated to be 0.314 cm2 and also the diffusion coefficientswere (2.294 × 10-4cm2sec-1)in scan rate 500 mv/s and (1.452 × 10-4cm2sec-1) in scan rate 50 mv/s.where RSD% for bulk, form and serum less than 0.5% while in urine less from 1.5% and recovery close to 99.8% in bulk, form and serum while in urine is 100.1. The voltammogram for deferasirox giveirreversible process with adsorption– controlled process. Finally, this technique was appliedfor deferasirox on pharmaceutical formulations and biological samples (serum and urine).
