Mirmecofauna asociada a cafetales bajo sombra en Quipile, Cundinamarca, Colombia

Popis: Ants are an important component in terrestrial ecosystems especially in shady coffee plantations due to their abundance and variety of microhabitats, for this reason in this study it was determined the diversity, composition and ants guilds associated with forest species and shady agricultural species (Inga sp., Tabebuia rosea) and (Musa sp, Citrus sp.) and coffee bushes present in four shady coffee plantations, on the sidewalk Guadalupe high of the municipality of Quipile, Cundinamarca. The samplings were carried out by means of fall traps and manual capture in the dry and rainy seasons. There were 82 morphospecies distributed in 30 genera and 9 subfamilies.
