The aim of the study was to evaluate the outcome of treatment of patients with chronic viral hepatitis C, who received direct-acting antiviral (DAA) drugs, including those who had non-response to interferon therapy, with unfavorable variants of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) of interleukin-28B gene, and with the liver cirrhosis. 589 patients with chronic viral hepatitis C, treated with interferons (IFN) and ribavirin (RBV), and 210 patients who completed the therapy with DAA drugs, were selected for the study.
