This report outlines an inquiry into the area of ontologies, conducted within the context ofblog preservation, management and dissemination. Three different scenarios regarding the applicationof ontologies are presented and evaluated including interoperability with Linked Open Data, SemanticExtension of Tags and utilisation of Microdata, Microformats and RDFa. This report provides aninsight into some of the most promising applications of ontologies that should be further examined andimplemented within the BlogForever project. |
