Popis:	The cis-decalindione (I), obtained from naphthalene-2,7-diol by hydrogenation and oxidation, is oxidized to give the oxabicyclo(4.3.0)nonanecarboxylic acid (II), which is converted into the homocarbaprostacyclin (X) as shown in the reaction scheme.
