Popis: | Neutral palladium carbonyl complexes in NaX and NaY zeolites were prepared via the direct carbonylation of [Pd(NH 3 ) 4 ] 2+ complexes at room temperature using the ability of noble-metal complexes to catalyze the low-temperature water–gas shift reaction for the reduction of metal cations. The kinetics of carbonylation as well as decarbonylation processes were monitored by in situ FTIR spectroscopy. Both reactions are faster in NaX than in NaY. The higher reactivity in NaX is attributed to the higher density of charges as compared to NaY. |
