Popis: | This paper investigates the measurement of pulse signals based on a frequency-domain approach, which enables measuring broadband pulse signals with low cost. Experiments are conducted to measure a periodic pulse signal with bandwidth of 400 MHz. The pulse signal is measured by four channels, each equipped with an analog-to-digital converter with sampling rate of 250 MHz. The outcomes of the four channels are stitched in the frequency domain to reconstruct the pulse signal. Experimental results show that, the proposed circuit architecture is capable of attaining the complete spectrum of wideband pulse signals with performance equivalent to that of high-speed ADCs. |
