This article analyzes, from some provocations contained in the book “Twenty-one faces of Eshu in the Afro-descendant philosophy of Education”, the relations among body, sexuality and Eshu, the Yoruba divinity of the word, communication, crossroads, paths, and inversion. We will also discuss the appearance of entities of some religions of African origin, which in Brazil received the name of this orisha, and dynamize, pluralize their meanings. The body and sexuality, as domains linked to the Orisha Eshu, also appear linked to the space of teaching and learning, generating philosophical powers for the interpretation of learning realities, politics and knowledge itself. |
