Popis:	This paper introduces briefly the status of existing focal plane arrays in the world. A more detailed description of the Laboratoire Infrarouge (LIR) - SOFRADIR Technology is given. Results concerning scanned linear arrays and staring arrays are given at 77 K and 200 K.
