Popis: | Social skills intervention has outpaced assessment of children's social skills. If effective interventions are to be developed, it is essential that we conduct valid and reliable assessment of social skills. The purpose of this paper is to review and evaluate approaches to the assessment of social skills of children, pre-kindergarten through high school. The authors advocate a comprehensive model of social skills assessment that utilizes multiple settings, multiple instruments and multiple sources. |
