Popis: | A model of exciton condensation into the liquid phase in thin samples taking into account the surface recombination of embryos sticked to the surface is developed. It predicts a drastic increase of the homogeneous nucleation threshold and its temperature independence in thin crystals. The model explains qualitatively the experimental data for thin samples of germanium presented. |
