This research paper develops a smart house hazard alarm system for mobile phone applications. The developed system is capable of sending alarm messages to mobile phones informing of hazard cases such as fire, water flood and intruders. The system based on using various sensors controlled by a PIC microcontroller which consist of a modem and GPS modules for message sending and receiving. The system is programmed to receive feedback messages and to take appropriate actions such as switching OFF electrical appliances. This circuit is suitable to work with verity of existing mobile and smart phones. The developed system is tested under real-life conditions and showed an average 85% accuracy in detecting various hazards. |
