Popis: In this work, 3D simulation of an air flow inside the Ranque-Hilsch vortex tube was carried out in an unsteady statement for the laminar flow using the OpenFOAM software package. A qualitative possibility of energy separation in the laminar flow in a vortex tube is shown.
