Popis: | This article reports findings from testing on four generations of unibody steel clamp anchors for posttensioning carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) rods. The tests reveal better anchor performance as the number of bolts, thickness of the anchors and length of the anchors increased. A comparison of the contact pressure between the anchors and the CFRP rod, using finite element models, revealed contact pressure to be highest when using the generation IV anchors, which also controlled stress concentrations at the lead edge. |
