Polymers based on diphenylthio-, diphenyldithio-, dibutyldiethyl-, diethylthio-, diethyldithio-phosphinic acid with chromium acetylacetonate were synthesized and studied. Their infrared, ultraviolet and paramagnetic electron spectra were recorded. The substitution of the oxygen atoms by those of sulphur reduced the heat resistance of the coordination polymers. A scheme is suggested for the formation of molecular orbitals from the orbitals of the central Cr 3+ ion and the ligands in the polymers. |
