The research aims to determine the effects of confronting sexism on confronter evaluation. Specifically, we aim to determine whether there is an interaction effect between confronter gender, and whether they explicitly name the behavior as sexist. Participants will complete a forced choice hiring task, and simulate a group interaction during which one member of the group confronts another for making a sexist decision. They will then be asked to evaluate both group members. The goal is to observe how male and female confronters are evaluated, and find whether female confronters are penalized more harshly for confronting with naming. |
