Popis: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of psychodrama groups on research assistants’ levels of feeling inferior, flourishing, and self-compassion. In this research, a 2 × 3 quasi-experimental design was used. Fourteen research assistants, including seven individuals in an experimental group and seven individuals in the control group, participated in the study. A 10-session psychodrama process was conducted with the experimental group. No procedure was performed in the control group. A one-way repeated measure ANOVA method was used to determine intragroup differences, and an ANOVA for mixed designs method was used to determine intergroup differences. The results revealed the experimental group’s flourishing, common humanity, isolation, and mindfulness levels changed significantly, but no significant changes occurred in feelings of inferiority, self-judgement, self-kindness, and over-identification. The results showed the effect of flourishing did not continue, but the effect of common humanity, isolation, and mindfulness continued after 2 months. A comparison of the experimental and control groups indicated the experiment had a significant effect on self-judgment, isolation, over-identification, mindfulness, and self-kindness, with this effect also continuing after 2 months, whereas no significant changes occurred in common humanity, feelings of inferiority, and flourishing.
