Popis: | High frequency transformers significantly influence the operational characteristics and the efficiency of switched mode power supply. This paper deals with high frequency transformer optimized rapid design procedure. The procedure is based on the simplified design approach considering the most necessary phenomena related to high-frequency transformer operations. The verification is done through the simulation analysis of a dc-dc converter with a precise model of high frequency transformer. The simulation results serve to select the appropriate geometry of the transformer in order to achieve the highest possible efficiency. The results are also verified by experimental measurements on the proposed LLC dual interleaved converter. |
