Popis: Nowadays working out of new methods of receiving ultraviolet on the basis of last achievements in the field of optoelectronics, for the purpose of creation of a light source possessing high light efficiency, the great durability, and also being as much as possible ecological both in manufacture, operation and recycling, is necessary. In the given work the technique of reception of the ultraviolet, based on the phenomenon of field-emission has been developed. Doubtless advantages of an field-emission source of UV are ecological compatibility, a wide range of working temperatures, high stability to mechanical vibrations and voltage fluctuations in a network, low inertance (time of "electric" inclusion of the cathode does not exceed 10-8 sec) and high durability. Also it is necessary to notice that thanks to application of the field-emission cathode the source has no heated parts. The field-emission light source is a vacuum lamp with an electronic gun and the screen covered with ultraviolet phosphor. Electrons are accelerated by anode voltage, under the influence of this high energy electrons phosphor shine. A bunch of carbon fibers has been used as a field-emission cathode.
