Popis: | Similariry conditions have been established on the basis of which the viscosity can be simulated in testing viscoelastic materials for tension (compression) under hydrostatic pressure. It has been shown that criteria $$\dot \varepsilon \tau _0$$ and $$\dot \varepsilon \tau$$ account for the effect of viscosity, while the II number accounts for the effect of pressure. The criterion $$\dot \varepsilon \tau$$ is, in form, identical to the analogous parameter in the theory of non-Newtonian fluid flow. It has been shown, furthermore, that criterion $$\dot \varepsilon \tau$$ is the monodromic version of criterion $$\dot \varepsilon \tau _0$$ (the similarity number). When P=0 or P is very small and the II number degenerates, then only criterion $$\dot \varepsilon \tau _0$$ or criterion $$\dot \varepsilon \tau$$ should be used. |
