Popis: | The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Small Explorer (SMEX) spacecraft is a generic bus designed for a wide variety of orbits and scientific missions. The Spacecraft can be either spin stabilized or 3-axis stabilized. The selected power system is a generic power system intended to support the requirements of various missions. The spacecraft is basically single string with numerous features incorporated in the power system design to minimize single point failures. The power system design emphasizes low weight, volume and power consumption. |
